Tire Mounting

Plaza Automotive Center ensures proper mounting of your new tires by providing our technicians with state-of-the-art tire mounting equipment—equipment designed to handle almost all tire and rim combinations.

Tire Rotation

Most manufacturers recommend that tires should be rotated on a scheduled basis at approximately 5,000 to 8,000 mile intervals. Plaza Automotive Center can help you get maximum life from your tire investment by providing tire rotations on a regular basis.

Flat Repair

Flat tires can happen anytime. When they occur the tire should be dismounted and closely inspected inside and out for any possible damage. Punctures up to 1/4-inch diameter in the tread area can be safely repaired using industry-approved methods. Tires with punctures larger than 1/4-inch diameter or sidewall damage must be replaced.

Wheel Alignment

Have you noticed uneven tire wear? While driving have you noticed: an off-center steering wheel? Swaying, drifting or pulling? Difficult steering? Any of these symptoms may indicate the need for service or repairs to your vehicle’s steering and suspension system.

Alignment

A properly-aligned vehicle can protect you from spending hundreds of dollars in tire replacement and suspension repairs. That’s why we recommend having your vehicle’s alignment checked every 6 months or 6,000 miles. At Plaza Automotive Center, certified technicians perform alignments using the latest computerized technology for state-of-the-art accuracy.

There are two types of alignments performed based on the vehicle’s construction:

• All-Wheel Full Adjustable Alignment
  For vehicles with adjustable rear suspensions, we adjust the front and rear wheels perfectly parallel to the vehicle’s geometric centerline. The results are four wheels parallel with the steering wheel perfectly centered.
• All-Wheel Thrust Angle Alignment
  For vehicles with non-adjustable rear suspension, we determine the rear wheels’ thrust line (the direction in which they push) and then adjust the front wheels to be perfectly parallel with the rear thrust line. The results are front wheels precisely aligned with the thrust line of the rear wheels, all four wheels parallel and the steering wheel perfectly centered.

That’s why we perform a complete steering and suspension system inspection with every alignment. By replacing worn parts you regain steering control and handling which will return your vehicle to its original operating performance.
